When I was working with Creative People, they understood how important it was for my next role be at a company that understands and values design and has good people. There were a few companies they started intro's with and LP came up a few times but it honestly didn't look that exciting. They kept telling me I would really like the VP of design since she was previously at Airbnb. I thought, okay, I guess it won't hurt to find out if that's true. In our first conversation you were so warm and welcoming — it felt like I was talking to a good friend. We talked about the value of design and how much the little details matter — the details that don't seem important until you add them all up. That made me excited about working at LP.
